Episode 1 of Deconstructing Aesop’s Fables is here and the theory is to take a lighthearted look at the fables. Each episode explores the meaning of the lesson who is learning said lesson, and who is doing the educating.

Each episode contains a lesson and maybe not the one first intended. Aesop’s Fables are a rabbit hole with multiple interpretations of the same story from different times and regions. Animal, inanimate objects, and people are used in the tales to get a point across and depending on the interpretation.

The amount of Aesop research expands with each episode while digging into various translations. There are a number of resources and  FablesofAesop.com has a ton of information.
